I have sewn since I was in Broadway Middle School but didn't start quilting until the early '90s. My first quilt was a Giant Dahlia. I am self-taught. I've never been detoured by someone's opinion that a project is "too hard". I jump into projects that I like and learn the processes I need to know. I believe one can learn the process of making more challenging projects just as easily as so called "beginner" quilts. One step at a time.
I have been very active in the Peninsula Quilt Guild for many years and have displayed many quilts in the annual quilt show. I am a member of the Clatsop Quilt Guild and looking forward to growing that. I have formed many close friendships with many wonderful quilters.
Let's have fun.
